Session is a decentralised, end-to-end encrypted messaging app that’s bringing privacy, anonymity, and security to the messaging space. It has nearly 1,000,000 active users and it is continuing to grow, with everyone from journalists in Myanmar to your elderly grandma recognising the importance of privacy.

This year Session is transitioning to a new network, the Session Network, which will be deployed exclusively on Arbitrum One at launch. Arbitrum One was chosen as a leading Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution with a proven track record of performance, reliability, and security.

Session has received a grant from the Arbitrum Foundation, and we are excited to join the Arbitrum ecosystem and contribute to its success in the future as one of the largest decentralised applications on the network.
